  • Kideco had an installed capacity of 2.3 million metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) and started commercial production at Roto North mine are
1997
  • Kideco completed its second expansion with installed capacity increased to 7.5 MTPA
2000
  • The establishment of Indika Energy
  • Kideco completed its third expansion with installed capacity increased to 16 MTPA
2004
  • Indika Energy acquired 41% stake in Kideco.
2006
  • Indika Energy increased its stake in Kideco to 46%
  • Kideco completed its fourth expansion with installed capacity increased to 24 MTPA
  • Tripatra, as part of an international consortium was awarded international tender of the coal-fired powered independent power producer
2007
  • Indika Energy completed the merger with PT Tripatra Company and PT Ganesha Intra Development Company
  • The establishment of CEP by the international consortium. Indika Energy has 20% stake in CEP.
  • Indika Energy issued US$ 250 million Senior Notes due in 2012. It was awarded as "2007 Asia Best High-Yield Bond" by FinanceAsia.
  • CEP signed a 30- year power purchase agreement with PT PLN (Persero).
  • Through the acquisition of 45% equity interest in PT Cotrans Asia and 46% equity interest in Twinstar Shipping Limited, Tripatra further enhanced the Group's value-chain synergies in coal transportation and transshipment.
2008
  • Indika Energy launched its initial public offering / IPO, listed at the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX): "INDY".
  • Indika Energy IPO was awarded as "Best Indonesia Deal in 2008" by FinanceAsia and "Country Awards 2008" by Asia Money.
  • The establishment of PT Sea Bridge Shipping where Tripatra has 46% stake.
  • PT Kuala Pelabuhan Indonesia became fully owned subsidiary of Tripatra.
  • The establishment of PT Intan Resource Indonesia.
  • Indika Energy acquired 100% stake in both Westlake Capital Pte Ltd and PT Citra Indah Prima.
2009
  • Indika Energy acquired 98.55% stake in Petrosea
  • The establishment of Indo Integrated Energy II B.V. The establishment of Westlake Resources Holding Limited.
  • Indika Energy issued US$ 230 million Senior Notes due in 2016. This Senior Notes was awarded "2009 Best High-Yield Bond in Indonesia" by The Asset.
  • Kideco's installed capacity has reached 40 MTPA.
